Hi, I’m children’s author LaTanya Smith and writing is what I love to do. I want to welcome you to Isabella's Little Kiddie Reads books and also Thank You for being here. I would like to share with you my journey and how I became a children's book author. I discovered my love for writing when I became a preschool teacher in 2008. Since then, my career has changed but the writing, I couldn’t let go. In 2019 after I had my daughter Isabella, my storybooks have been molded around her. I believe books can leave a lifelong impression. I can still remember certain books from story time at school, when I was a little girl. The whole class would gather together on the storytelling carpet and the teacher would read each page then show us the pictures. The most memorable book that I remember is (Danny the Dinosaur) written by Syd Hoff. I absolutely loved that book, I loved everything about it. This is why I’m so dedicated to writing fun creative books for children of all ages. Whenever I think of those special memories, they give me a warm comforting feeling and it makes me feel good about my childhood. I want to leave a positive lifelong impression on my readers all over the world. I want my readers to believe they can achieve anything, I want them to dream big, to be confident, to feel good about themselves and to feel good about Isabella's Little Kiddie Reads Books.
