School Visits

Tina Marie & Barbara Hagler, bring their
excitement, fun, and love of the printed
word to your students.
School Event
Each school visit will be tailored to the age and abilities
of the students and the needs of the teacher.
Book reading with discussion:
Each author will read one of their books to the students and discuss the books. Discussions may include compare, and contrast, comprehension, character lesson, parts of a book and publishing depending on grade level.
(30 - 45 minutes)
Let's Book It!! Art Project:
This project will be tailored to your students grade level. The authors will present an art project to your class where each student produces their own book. The authors will discuss parts of a story: beginning, middle, and end as well as talk about how the illustrations should match the story. Story starters (included in Packet) will be provided or students can use their own stories.
Materials for the art project will be provided by the authors. Timing for the project depends on the teacher and how much of the project they would like completed in the session. Students will need to provide a picture of themselves for the author page of their book.

Program Fee - $125.00
$99.00 same day additional sessions
Traveling fees may also apply
A 50% deposit is required at time of booking and balance is due day of the event

Book Ordering Information:
.Teachers will be asked to send an order form home with students in advance of the event. (Order form template included in packet)
.Students will be able to order signed/personalized copies of the author's books.
.Students will return the order form with a check/cash for the signed books on or before the day of the event to their teacher.
